The offer of services by the Rev. Oscar A. Sears, of Lynchburg as Chaplain to the army of Virginia, has given great satisfaction to our Catholic fellow citizens of this county, as his ability, patriotism, and plenty eminently entitles him to the consideration of the Government, who is no doubt aware of the large number of Catholics in the Southern army, whose religious as well as military feelings should be consulted and provided for with as little delay as possible.
