--The Philip Snyder mentioned as having been bound over to appear at Court to testify in respect to the affair at Solitude, where John L. Curry's skull was fractured, we are requested to say is not Philip M. Snider, conductor on the Richmond and Danville Railroad, as persons might suppose from a similarity of cognomen.
If any of the Conductor's friends took him to be the witness alluded to it is what may familiarly be termed "a big thing on Snider. "
