--The Southern Express Company is extending its telegraph line to Raleigh, and will eventually reach Richmond, via Danville — hue giving Columbia two complete telegraphic connections with the Capital of the Confederacy The line has been completed as far as Salisbury, N. C., and will be in operation in a few days Julien Soule has been appointed Superintendent of the new line.
