Sterne, Simon 1839- Lawyer; born in Philadelphia, Pa., June 23, 1839; graduated at the Law Department of the University of Pennsylvania in 1859; became a specialist on railroad and constitutional law. His publications include Representative government; Development of political and constitutional history in the United States; contributions on railways, monopolies, legislation, etc., in Lalor's Cyclopaedia of political Science and United States history. He died in New York City, Sept. 22, 1901.
