from Pittsylvania Nov. 20, 1862, for grand larceny, for three years, is 40 years old, black complexion, hair and eyes; was born in Halifax county, Va., is 5 feet 7¾ inches high, has one scar on the outside of the right leg, just below the knee, and one on the outside of the left leg, half way between the ankle and knee, and one on the right side of the head, about four inches above the ear. 7. William (Talbot) Transport, when condemned the property of Talbott & Bro, sentenced from Chesterfield county Dec. 12, 1862, black complexion, hair and eyes; is 31 years old, 5 feet 5¼ inches high; has a small scar on the left cheek, near the corner of the mouth, one on the right wrist, about four inches above the wrist bone, and one tooth near the right corner of the mouth out. The above reward will be paid for the capture and delivery of the above-described convicts, or their lodgment in some jail, or a proportion of the amount will be paid for each. J. R. Twenty-five dollars reward. --Ranaway from the fortifications around Richmond, my negro man Edward or Ned. Said negro was sent to work on the fortifications on the 7th October and deserted on the 11th. He is about 21 years old, mulatto, and about 5 feet 10 inches in height; his speech is very soft and mild. I will pay the above reward of $25 for his arrest and delivery to me, or confinement in jail so that I get him.
