ederal Relations; the preamble and resolutions submitted by Mr. Paxton as a substitute for the report of the Joint Committee on State and Federal Relations; the proposition submitted by Mr. August (on the same subject;) a communication from the Executive, embracing some coercion resolves of the Black Republican Legislature of New York, and a report by Mr. Johnson from the Committee on Federal Relations, were read, and, on motion, laid on the table. A petition was presented from citizens of Fairfax, asking the Legislature to endeavor to save the Union.
