Advices from Martinsburg give the following intelligence: The rebels have succeeded in taking down and removing to Winchester two of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad locomotives.--They have also sent to the same place a portion of the machinery belonging to the company's workshops there, breaking up and disabling the remainder. It is stated to be their intention to take up sufficient of the track to connect Winchester with Strasburg. There was no strong force in either Jefferson or Berkeley county. $100 reward. --Ranaway on the 25th of August, two Negro Men, named John and Charles. John is 24 years old; black, has a full head of hair; is 6 feet 1 inch high; will weigh about 200 pounds; had on when he left a soft black hat, drab coat and blue cotton pants. Charles, his brother is 20 years old; black; has a full head of hair; is 5 feet 10 or 11 inches high, weighs about 165 or 170 lbs. He also had on a soft black hat, drab coat and blue-pants. I purchased them of W. C. Vanmetar, who lives near Moorefield, Virginia. I think it likely they will try and get back to that place. They came to Richmond by railroad from Strasburg. I will give the above reward for them, or fifty Dollars for either, delivered to Hector Davis, to Richmond. au 28--2w* John D. Ragland.
