Later from China. --The American Treaty Repudiated by the Regent — The Death of the Emperor.--A correspondent of the London and China Telegraph writes: Prince Kung says he has no knowledge of any American treaty; he only knows or has heard of an American who was received at Pekin to render tribute; but there is no official record of a treaty. The Prussians have been positively and definitely refused a separate treaty. The Emperor expired on the 24th of August. On that day two decrees appeared in the Pekin Gazette, containing the Emperor's last orders. The first named his eldest son as successor to the throne; and by the second a council, consisting of eight high Chinese dignitaries, was appointed to assist him in the Government. The name of Prince Kung dees not appear in this list. All business was suspended for twenty days--the period of official mourning.
