Death by burning --A young man, named John Ferguson, living in Dinwiddie county, Va., while at the residence of Theo. Tucker, in the same county, fell into the fire on Tuesday last, and was burned nearly to death. No one was in the house at the time, but a servant in the yard, hearing his screams, hastened back and found him lying nearly across the fire-place, in a blaze. He lived about six hours afterwards, in the most severe agony, and died at 2 o'clock Wednesday morning.--Ferguson was considerably under the influence of liquor at the time of the unfortunate casualty.
