Thomas the f. was a currier, and inherited the homestead. He appears to have possessed considerable property in early life; but his family was large, and many of the children imbecile, so that little estate remained after his death. He d. 22 Jan. 1787; his w. Lydia and several of the children sold the homestead to James Winthrop, Esq., and removed into a small house on the S.
