rge of Larceny. --A man with a foreign appearance, calling himself Dr. Patricio Automa Cevilo Camps, was arraigned before the Mayer yesterday, to answer a charge of stealing $35.40 from Dirquest & Winga, and a gold chain valued at $20 from Laura Wells. From the testimony of the two Frenchmen above named, who are proprietors of the Orleans House, on 8th, street, it appears that Camps had been employed in the house for a brief period, and that during the time a good marry articles, mysteriou, but they had been unable to bring about a settlement. The testimony of these two, witnesses was prolonged to an indefinite extent, and a searching cross-examination was conducted by George Dabney Wooten, Esq., counsel for the prisoner. Laura Wells, who resides at the corner of 12th and Cary streets, testified that the prisoner came to her place of abode last Sunday week, and after he departed the missed her cham — a neck chain, with a little true lover's knot on it — which she bought in
