Wheat. --One of our contemporaries, who prides himself on keeping posted on the necessaries of life, says that the pries now offered in Richmond for red wheat is 80 cents; for white ditto, 90 cents. There should be an approximation to quality in all things. It is not right than the millers and grain dealers should offer half price for this important product of the farmer when the article bears so noble a price when made into flour. Besides, during these war times we have seen very few merchants of whatever kind, (or "any other man,") having anything to sell, either in the way of dry goods, clothing, guns, wheat, flour, bacon, pistols, &c., &c., who was not willing to demand all he could get. The war has proved a real "good aig" to many a heartless scamp. This has been the case over the whole country.
