Ranaway--$100 reward --From the subscriber, Monday morning, Oct. 20th, my negro man Peter Grant, a shoemaker. He is about 30 years of age; smoked bacon color; 5 feet 8 inches high; rather delicate looking man, is ruptured in the navel. He was seen at the Central railroad depot Tuesday morning, Oct. 21st, and is probably making his way towards Orange county, where he came from. Commissioner Ould, regarding the proposition as dictatorial, declined the exchange suggested, but sent down Major Von Wetzell, of Pennsylvania, in exchange for Major Jones. Mulford, the officer in charge of the flag of truce boat, declined making the exchange, and as the Yankeehe proposition as dictatorial, declined the exchange suggested, but sent down Major Von Wetzell, of Pennsylvania, in exchange for Major Jones. Mulford, the officer in charge of the flag of truce boat, declined making the exchange, and as the Yankee Commissioner, Meredith, had left City Point, Von Wetzell was returned to the Libby prison and Major Jones taken back to City Point.--White is a rabid Black Republican member of the New York Senate, and for that reason was preferred to Von Wetzell.
