f boots and shoes (Stimpson's patent.) Wrist. 1. A stud or pin projecting from a wheel, and to which a pitman or connecting-rod is attached. The wrist and so much of the radius of the wheel constitute a crank. 2. The pin of a crank to which the pitman is attached, as in the cut. Wrinkling-machine. Wrist-link. A link with connected buttons for the wrist band or cuff. Harvester pitman-connection. Wrist-pin. A pin passing through the axis of a wrist-connection. Whiteley's wrist-pin and pitman-head. In Fig. 7374, the wrist-pin is a truncate, conical, tubular piece attached to the crank-wheel by a bolt.
