m the Army of the Potomac were executed on the 29th ult., in the presence of 25,000 persons. Two of them were Protestants, two Catholic, and one Hebrew — all foreigners. Two rebel soldiers recently made their way into Norfolk, and, after taking copious notes of military and naval affairs in and about the ancient borough, attempted to return to Richmond, but were captured. They are now prisoners in Fort Norfolk, and, it is expected, will soon be tried by court-martial as spies. Nathaniel Wilkinson and Wm. T. Buckers are their names. Volunteering in New Jersey is progressing very briskly. About five thousand men have been obtained since the Governor's proclamation was issued. Three new batteries are almost complete, and one regiment of cavalry and one of infantry will be complete this week.
