Wood at the Ballard House. The security was readily given. Wm. Daniel, white, for violently assaulting Polly, slave of Mrs. Bropley, was required to give security, and did it. Ludwig & Hoyer, Luther P. Crow, Lawrence Burns, W. N. Tinsley, and Henry Bowen, were fined for permitting nuisances to exist near their lots.
