Fatal accident. --An accident occurred Tuesday morning, near Fort McHenry, by which one of the privates of the First Artillery Regiment, named Stanislaus Feigner, was drowned, and the third corporal, Nicholas Murray, greatly injured. A squad of one of the companies stationed at the Fort was engaged as usual in drilling with their field pieces, outside of the works. In consequence of a defective hame yielding to the strain while a gun, drawn by four horses, was making a short curve, the piece was overturned into the water, dragging the horses after it. Feigner was entangled in the reins, and not being able to extricate himself was drowned, as was one of the animals, in six feet water.
