Resignations. --W. W. Gaines, of Louisiana, a $1,200 clerk, and H. C. McNulty, of Connecticut, and W. E. G. Keesee, of California, $1,400 clerks in the Sixth Auditor's Office, have tendered their resignations. Edward Stubbs, Jr., disbursing clerk of the State Department, was removed yesterday. Geo. E. Baker, of New York, has been appointed disbursing clerk of the State Department in place of Mr. Stubbs, removed. The salary is $2,000 per annum. Warren Corwin son of Hon. Thomas Corwin, o.
