Fire at Philadelphia.
--A fire occurred Monday night, in Philadelphia, at Maul's lumber yard, near the Schuylkill river, which destroyed property to the value of $40,000.--Much excitement was occasioned in consequence of the firing of alarm guns from the United States Arsenal, about half a mile south of the fire, which was considered at one time endangered from the falling sparks.
The fire is attributed to incendiarism.
