ally for the sick, and were you to enter it and see the comfortable cots and mattresses, the neat pillows, the pure white sheeting and other essentials for the room of the invalid, you would at once be forced to the conclusion that we were remembered by those from whom we are separated many a weary mile. The steward has furnished me with the following memorandum of articles which have recently come to hand: Mrs. A. A. Morson, Mrs. E. C. Richardson, Mrs. Dr. Deane, Mrs. Jos. Allen, Mrs. Jane F. Hart, Misses Fisher, Mrs. John Enders, Messrs. Putney & Watts, and John C. Page, have furnished us with many articles peculiarly suitable for hospital use.
