S. and Publication Board of the Baptist General Association of Virginia, I was directed to supply the Chaplains of the Confederate forces with religious tracts for distribution among their respective regiments and also to supply such soldiers as may wish to aid in placing religious reading within the reach of all our soldiery. Those who wish to avail themselves of this proposal will please give me their address and they shall be furnished gratuitously with excellent religious tracts, especially adapted to the circumstances and wants of those on the tented field.
