A duel near Manassas. Manassas, Nov. 22. --A hostile meeting took place yesterday, (21st) between William A. Courtney correspondent of the Charleston Mercury, and Captain Cuthbert, of the Palmetto Guards. The cause of the difficulty was a recent publication by the Palmetto Guard, reflecting injuriously upon Mr. Courtney. After an exchange of shots, the matter was honorably settled.
