About 4,000 of these people were in quarters at Head. Gen. Hunter's expedition Leavenworth, Feb. 11, 1862. --The greatest activity prevails at Fort Leavenworth in making preparations for the expedition to start from here under Gen Hunter. Troops and supplies are being concentrated in the Southern portions of the State, and the indications appear favorable for an early advance.
