A blockader aground. --The Wilmington (N. C.) Journal, of the 10th, says that a schooner was chased into Shallotte, on Sunday last, by one of the blockading steamers — the Prescott. After the schooner got inside, the channel being narrow and the wind ahead, she struck and grounded. The Penobscot coming up at this time within a short distance, fired three shells at her without effect, when the steamer grounded, at high water, on what is known as the bar. She received assistance yesterday morning from another blockader, but had not been got off at 11 o'clock. It is believed the Penobscot will have to be abandoned. The enemy set fire to the schooner on Monday; her cargo of salt, however had nearly all been saved during the night. The crew are all safe.
