Davis, was ordered ten lashes for going about the streets without a pass.--Case of James and Francis, slaves, accused of stealing a watch chain and key from James H. Smith, was continued until this morning.--Lombardo Palo was fined $5 for huckstering in the 2d market.--Edmund, slave of J. D. Quarles, was ordered 39 lashes for having in his possession a box of tobacco, weighing 22 pounds, for which he could not satisfactorily account.
