Extraordinary Risk in rent. --The Charlottesville (Va.) correspondent of the Lynchburg Republican gives the following piece of intelligence: On the main street in our town, two squares from the depot, there is situated a large two-story wooden house, which, with half an acre of land attached, was a few days ago sold for $2,500. Last year it rented for a boarding-house for $500 or $620. On Tuesday last it was put up at public auction for rent, and knocked down at the comfortable sum of $2,375 a year rent.
