The France-United States question — the French Yellow Book — the two Omitted letters. [Translated for the Richmond Dispatch.]
We give below a translation of two of the letters in the French "Yellow Book," laid before the French Chambers.
They have never appeared in an American journal, and are translated by one of the best French scholars in the Confederacy.
A very imperfect translation has appeared in the London papers, which by no means conveys the proper sense of the authors:
