The Crusade against slavery. We have in our possession a letter written by the Rev. D. H. Dyer, of Fall River, Mass., to Corporal Wm. H Wormsley, a soldier in McClellan's army, which gives some views in regard to the real objects of the war, wherein we find reflected the sentiments of a vast majority of the Yankee population. While the newspapers prate of restoring the Union through a close adherence to constitutional measures, this abolition apostle raises the curtain and affords his military brother an opportunity of a peep behind the seenes. He writes as follows: "Last week I spent in Providence, attending the anniversaries of the Baptist Benevolent Societies. The meetings of the Societies were interesting, though not so fully attended as usual. Among the most interesting of the debates was that on the subject of the present rebellion.
