The Crusade against slavery. We have in our possession a letter written by the Rev. D. H. Dyer, of Fall River, Mass., to Corporal Wm. H Wormsley, a soldier in McClellan's army, which gives some views in regard to the real objects of the war, wherein we find reflected the sentiments of a vast majority of the Yankee population. While the newspapers prate of restoring the Union through a close adherence to constitutional measures, this abolition apostle raises the curtain and affords his military brother an opportunity of a peep behind the seenes. He writes as follows: "Last week I spent in Providence, attending the anniversaries of the Baptist Benevolent Societies.
