. Rosecrans's lines of communication, and to isolate Burnside.--McMinnville is in Worsen county, Tenn., 75 miles from Nashville, 50 from Chattanooga, and 180 from Knoxville. The fight at McMinnville was progressing when telegraphic communication was interrupted, and the result is unknown.
