Cutting telegraph lines. --Three successive nights the telegraph lines from Augusta, Ga., were cut. On the fourth night the telegraph employees with the aid of dogs, set out and hunted down the offender, who proved to be Calvin Lewis, a burglar. He was caught in a swamp about six miles from the city. He is supposed to be connected with other parties.
One hundred dollar reward. --Will be paid for the arrest and confinement in Castle Thunder of the negro boy Lewis, about 5 feet 5 inches in height, and about 15 or 16 years old.
