The New York Herald, of Monday, the 13th inst., has been received. It contains the gold quotation of the Saturday before, from which we learn that gold went up to 198, and stayed there. The following has been the price of gold at the end of each week since Grant's victories commenced: May 21, 183¼; May 28, 188; June 4, 191; June 11, 198. The general news is not important. We give a brief summary of it: From Grant's army — departure of expired time regiments.
