The New York Herald, of Monday, the 13th inst., has been received. It contains the gold quotation of the Saturday before, from which we learn that gold went up to 198, and stayed there. The following has been the price of gold at the end of each week since Grant's victories commenced: May 21, 183¼; May 28, 188; June 4, 191; June 11, 198. The general news is not important. We give a brief summary of it: From Grant's army — departure of expired time regiments. A dispatch from the headquarters of Grant's 5th corps, says, "I have been compelled to chronicle the departure of some regiments whose term of service has expired in nearly every recent letter," and goes on to notice the departure of the 2d Wisconsin, which carried away 123 men and 15 officers, including two surgeons.
