A bill to appoint an agent to facilitate the settlement of claims of deceased soldiers. A bill making an appropriation for the purchase of Bruce's picture of General Robert E. Lee. The Senate bill to provide for the transcription of certain records of Warren county was taken up and passed. The bill amendatory of the act providing for the purchase and distribution of cotton, cotton cards, and hand cards, among the people of the Commonwealth, was taken up on its passage, when a motion to go into secret session prevailed, and the doors were closed. When the doors re-opened the House adjourned.
