An Indian War in Michigan. --A private letter from a gentleman residing in Bridge-hampton, Sanilac, county, dated the 6th inst., states that considerable excitement prevailed in that vicinity, on account of the assembling of a large number of Indians (about 160) near there, who were threatening an attack upon the settlers, declaring that "the country belonged to them, and they meant to have it again."
