2. c. acc. rei et gen. pers., strip the arms off an enemy, ὅπλατῶν πολεμίων ς.Lys.12.40, cf. X.An.6.1.6, HG2.4.19; ἀπὸ τῶν . . νεκρῶν ς. ψέλια κτλ. Hdt.9.80.
