II. Adv. -ίως in a manner contrary to, “τοῖς νόμοις” Aeschin.3.8; ὑ. ἔχειν to be opposed, Arist.GA719a28; ὑ. κεῖσθαι ib.719b18; “περί τινα ὑ. ὑπάρχει πρός τι” Id.HA500a13, al., cf.
