μέμονα perf. used as pres., but only in sg., the pl. being supplied by μέμαα

to wish eagerly, to yearn, strive, be fain, to do a thing, c. inf., Hom.:—absol., διχθὰ δέ μοι κραδίη μέμονε my heart yearneth with a twofold wish, Il.; μέμονεν ὅγε ἶσα θεοῖσι he puts forth spirit equal with the gods, id=Il.; τί μέμονας; what wishest thou? Aesch.
