A.bend back, “ξύλα” Hp.Fract.13; “ἀνακλάσας δέρην” E.Or. 1471 (lyr.); “ταὧς ἀ. οὐράν” D.Chr.12.2; “ἀ. τὴνγλῶσσαν πρὸς τὸν οὐρανόν” Aret.CA1.7; to a wrestler, “ἀνάκλα” POxy.466.29 (ii A. D.):—Pass., πίοιμι τὸν τράχηλον ἀνακεκλασμένη with my neck bent back, Theopomp.Com.54, cf. D.Chr.5.25 (Act.); but in Medic., “τὴν κεφαλὴν ἀνακεκλασμένην μεσσηγὺ τῶν ὠμοπλατέων κέεσθαι” Aret.SA 1.6; “ἀνακεκλασμένοι” with eyelids slightly open, Hp.Coac.64.

II. of light, reflect, ib.696a, al.:—Pass., Arist.Mete.340a28, al.; τοσοῦτον ἀνακλασθῆναι τῶν ἀδυνάτων εἶναί φασιν that [the rays] should be so much reflected, ib. 343b7; of sound, to be reverberated, Thphr.Sens.53; of a ball, rebound, Arist.Ph.255b27.
2. ἀνακλώμενος, in metre, of the overlapping of Ionic feet, “μέτρον ἀνακλώμενον” Heph.12, cf. Sch. ad loc.
