ψία^θ-ος [ι^], ἡ (also ὁ, read by Callistr. in Ar.Ra.567, cf. Sch. ad loc. (575)), also ψίεθος , Antig.Mir.97, Ostr.Bodl. iii 228 (i A. D.), etc. (condemned by Phryn.281):—
A.a rush-mat, used for sleeping on, Hesperia 5.382 (Athens, v. B.C.), Ar.Ra.567, Lys.921, Arist.HA559b3, Thphr. HP4.8.4, 9.4.4; ἐκ τῆς αὐτῆς ψ. γεγονώς, prov. of persons in like condition, bedfellow, Com.Adesp.789 (anap. (?)); Dor. pl. acc. “ψιάθως” Ar.Ach.874.
