A.remove, send away, used by Hom. only in aor. I, “ὡς ἂν . . περικαλλέα κούρην ἂψ ἀπονάσσωσινIl.16.86, cf. A.R.4.1492:—Med., wend one's way back,Δουλίχιόνδ᾽ ἀπενάσσατοIl.2.629, cf. Od.15.254.
II. aor. Med. in trans. sense, ἀπενάσσατο παῖδα sent away her child, E.IT1260(lyr.):—Pass., aor. ἀπονασθῆναι, to be taken away, depart from a place, σᾶς πατρίδος ib.175 (lyr.); “πατρὸς καὶ πόλεωςId.Med.166.
