II.Mid. to reap the fruits of a thing, whether good or bad:
1.c. gen., in good sense, id=Il., Eur.
b.in bad sense, ἵνα πάντες ἐπαύρωνται βασιλῆος that all may enjoy their king, i. e. feel what it is to have such a king, Il.; c. acc. et gen., τοιαῦτ᾽ ἐπηύρω τοῦ φιλανθρώπου τρόπου such profit didst thou gain from . . , Aesch.; and absol., μιν ἐπαυρήσεσθαι ὀΐω I doubt not he will feel the consequences, Il.
