Artemis (Diana), daughter of Zeus and Leto, and
sister of Apollo; virgin goddess of the chase, and the supposed author
of sudden painless deaths of women (see ἀγανός); women of fine figure are compared to Artemis,

ἀγροτέρη, κελαδεινή.
