content sb.: the precise meaning is often doubtful; occas. = fulfilment of one's desire, or (simply) desire, wish R2 V. ii. 38 “To whose high will we bow our calm c-s,” 2H6 I. iii. 70 “work your Grace's full ,” Troil. I. ii. 319 “my heart's ,” Ven. Ded. 7, Compl. 157 “'gainst her own ” ;—in “heart's content” S. sometimes plays upon the sense ‘containing power, capacity’ of the other sb. ‘content’, e.g. 2H6 I. i. 35 “Such is the fulness of my heat's content.”
