b. c. acc. rei, graze on, “ΤρηχινίδαEuph. 114.
2. of persons, βουκολεῖς Σαβάζιον you tend, serve him (with allusion to his tauriform worship), Ar.V.10:—Med., μὴ πρόκαμνε τόνδε βουκολούμενος πόνον ruminating, pondering, A.Eu.78.
