II. a name of Dionysus, E.Ba.526 (lyr.), Philod.Scarph.1:—hence Δι^θυραμβογενής , AP9.524. (Pi. is said to have written it λυ_θίραμβος (Fr.85)—as if from λῦθι ῥάμμα, the cry of Bacchus when sewn up in his father's thigh.)
