εὐφύλακτος [υ^], ον,
A.easy to keep or guard, A.Supp.998; εὐ. καρδία well-guarded, Arist. PA670a26; εὐφυλακτότερον τὸ ὕδωρ τοῦ ἀέρος more easily confined, Id.Sens.438a15, cf. PA656b2 (Sup.); ἐν εὐφυλάκτῳ εἶναι to be on one's guard, E.HF201; -ότερα αὐτοῖς ἐγίγνετο it was easier for them to keep a look-out, Th.8.55; “ὅπως εὐφύλακτα αὐτοῖς εἴηId.3.92, cf. Plu.Rom.18.
II. (φυλάττομαι) easy to guard against, Arist. SE174b35 (Comp.), D.C.57.1.
