A.earth-moving, earth-carrying, Il.13.43, al., A.Th.310(lyr.), cf. S.OC1072(lyr.): Γαιάοχος , abs., Il. 13.125, Pi.O.13.81, and so Γαιάϝοχος (v. supr.): also in pl., Γαάοχοι, name of a contest, IG5(1).296.11 (Sparta).
