2. pl. in Platonic Philosophy, ideal forms, archetypes, “τὰς . . . νοεῖσθαι μέν, ὁρᾶσθαι δ᾽ οὔId.R.507b, cf. 596b,al., Arist.Metaph.990a34, al., EN1096a17: also in sg., τοῦ ἀγαθοῦ . Pl.R.508e, al., cf. εἶδος.
