b. τοῖσι αὐτοῖσιν τε σπλὴν θάλλει καὶ τὸ σῶμα φθίνει the spleen becomes swollen, Hp. Loc.Hom.24; also τεθηλός (in neutral sense) of the liver, Id.VM22.
