A.shrivelled with cold,= πεφρικώς, S.Fr.1091; shrivelled by old age or disease, shrunk, contracted, Hp.Prog.2 (s. v.l.), Xenarch.4.8, Cerc.2, Call.Fr. 49, etc.: generally, withered, shrivelled, crooked, “Ἥφαιστος ῥικνὸς πόδαςh.Ap.317; “ἅψεαOpp.C.2.346; “ῥικνοὶ πόδεςA.R.1.669, cf.APl. 4.306 (Leon.); . καὶ κώδιον shrivelled and (like) leather, IG14.1363.15 (Rome, iv A.D.).
