ὑθλ-έω ,
A.talk nonsense, trifle, prate, Ar.Nu.783; “τοιαῦθ᾽ ὑθλῶν δειπνεῖ καὶ ζῇ” Ephipp.19 (anap.). [υ_ Ephipp. l.c., perh. long by nature, but the accent of ὕθλος, if correct, implies υ^, and so apptly. Alex. in Gloss.Oxy.1801.52.]
